Interesting things of the week #21

Feeddemon to introduce the panic button - sounds like a good idea to me.

Librarian: 'Just say no to Wikipedia' - rather a knee-jerk reaction. I agree with Jen’s post Balance in everything: Wikipedia v the librarian - it is a useful starting point for more in-depth research.

The ultimate guide to advanced searching within Yahoo, Google and MSN operators

Voyage feed reader - pretty, but not brilliantly useful…

Dezignus.com - free stuff for web design

Youconvertit - online file converter, also lets you convert measurements etc - handy!

Sausagenet - Cult & Classic TV programmes database - mostly kids stuff. like Adventure Game, Belle & Sebastian, Earthfasts, Moomins, Round the Twist, Watt on Earth, but also some more adult stuff - Red Dwarf, Time Tunnel, and so many things I used to watch.

Yes amazing website http://youconvertit.com it is a WEB 2.0 that supports all media files conversion, they can do the following:
1- Convert document, images, audio, video and Archived files.
2- Convert any Youtube and other Online Video to popular formats or download the video
3- Send file(s) up to 300 MB to friends or post it on any forum for 7 days
4- Convert any type of units (Acceleration, Area, Torque and others)

what makes them amazing is you can add up to 5 different file formats, i used them to convert a document and couple of audio files.

Try them and give me your feedback http://www.youconvertit.com
